About twzl
Daily puzzles and games for every age, free in your browser.
What twzl is
twzl has 53 games you can play straight away in a browser, on a phone, a tablet or a computer, with no download and no account. 20 of them are daily puzzles: a new Sudoku, crossword, word game or logic grid appears at midnight, the same for everyone, so you can compare your time with friends and with the leaderboard. Every past day stays in the archive.
Next to the dailies are card games such as Solitaire and FreeCell, board games you can play against the computer or with a friend, arcade games with chapters and levels, and 39 learning games for children from four to ten, covering reading, numbers, time, money and the world.
How it is made
- Puzzles are checked, not just generated. Every Sudoku and logic grid has exactly one solution, and the crossword clues are written and edited by hand.
- Each game says what it is good for. The learning games list the skills they practise and adjust their difficulty to the child, so a game stays challenging without becoming frustrating.
- Scores are fair. Daily runs are timed on our server and replayed where the game allows it, so the leaderboard shows real results.
- It keeps getting better. We add games, levels and puzzles, and fix what players tell us about. Write to us and it gets read.
Children
The Little Learners and Kids sections show no ads, post nothing to public leaderboards, never ask for an email and are not tracked. Parents can see what their child has practised on the parents page.
How it is paid for
twzl is free. It is paid for by advertising shown to teens and adults, never to children. You can read exactly what we collect in the privacy policy.
