Typing Race
EveryoneAbout Typing Race
Words come past, you type them. Letters turn green as you get them right and red when you do not, and the run ends after a minute with your words-a-minute and accuracy. Short words for younger typists, common words, or the long ones that catch everybody out.
Typing Race is a one-minute typing test. Words come past and you type them, with letters turning green when right and red when not. At the end you see your words per minute and accuracy. Choose short words for young typists, common words, or long ones.
Tips
- Rest your fingers on the home row, with index fingers on F and J. Feel for the little bumps.
- Keep your eyes on the screen, not the keys. It is slow at first and faster for good.
- Accuracy before speed. A mistake costs more time than typing a little slower.
- Press space to move to the next word, and do not look back.
- A minute a day makes a real difference. Watch your best score climb over a few weeks.
