Word Hunt gives you seven letters and asks how many five-letter words you can make from them. Every word must use the centre letter, and letters can be used more than once. Reach the day's target to win, then keep going for a perfect hunt.
Tips
- Start with the centre letter in different positions. Try it first, then last, then in the middle.
- Look for common endings in the letters you have, such as -er, -ed, -es or -ly, and build backwards from them.
- Remember that letters can repeat. Words with a double letter are easy to miss.
- Once you find a word, try changing one letter to find its neighbours.
- Shuffle the letter ring when you run dry. Seeing the letters in a new order shakes loose new words.
- The hint gives you the first two letters of a word you have not found yet, if you are properly stuck.

- How do I win?
- Reach the target number of words and the day is won. Find every word and it is a perfect hunt.
- Why was my word not accepted?
- Every word must be five letters, use the centre letter, and be on the day's list of common words. Rare words are left out on purpose.
- Is it the same for everyone?
- Yes. A new set of letters appears at midnight, the same for every player, and scores go on the leaderboard.
- Can I play past days?
- Yes. Earlier hunts are in the archive, one tap from the game.
