About Flag Match

See the flag, name the country. Famous flags for kids, the whole world for experts.

Flag Match shows a flag and asks which country it belongs to. Ten rounds, with well-known flags for younger players and the whole world for experts. It is a quick, friendly way to learn flags, and it pairs well with the world map and capitals games.

Tips

  • Look at the colours first, then the layout. Stripes, crosses and emblems narrow it down fast.
  • Many flags are close cousins. Neighbouring countries often share colours, so think about the region.
  • Rule out the answers you know are wrong before choosing. Four options become two quickly.
  • Say the country name aloud when you get it right. It helps it stick.
  • Play a few rounds several days in a row. Flags you miss come back, and you will spot them next time.
