About Capitals

Country in, capital out. Ten rounds, harder countries as you age up.

Capitals shows a country and asks for its capital city, from four choices. Ten rounds, with streak bonuses for answers in a row, and harder countries as you move up the age groups. It is a good way to fill in the gaps in your world knowledge.

Tips

  • Watch for the capitals that are not the biggest city. Those are the ones that catch people out.
  • Some capitals share a name with their country. That is a clue, not a trick.
  • Think about the language of the country. A capital often sounds like it belongs there.
  • Protect your streak: take a moment on a hard one rather than guessing.
  • Play alongside Where in the World, so each capital has a place on the map in your head.
